Mr. Salem Mazrouei he recently retired from Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) on 31st December 2016. He started his career in 1983 after graduating from the University of California with a degree in Economics and upon retirement, he was Executive Director of Accounts Department. Prior to that, he was Executive Director and Head of the Evaluation & Follow-up Department. From 1989 to 1990 he served as Director of ADIA London Office where he managed ADIA’s external portfolio and many other affairs including being deputized to H.H. The Crown Prince’s Court to serve as Director of General Services in 1990 and Director of Equities Department (Far East) for ADIA in 1993.

Mr. Mazrouei has over 25 years of extensive experience in all aspects of global capital markets, including investments sectors ranging from equities (public and private), to bonds, to alternative investments (including commodities, hedge funds and real estate).

Mr. Mazrouei’s private business interests include Delma Brokerage, a financial services company based in Abu Dhabi, Arabian Real Estate Development, a real estate development company, Oasis Power International, energy & power related company, Tamas Projects, a specialized electro-mechanical & maintenance Co., Gulf Oil Field, a products & services for oil industry and Pharma Lines, a regional pharmaceutical company, The Higher National Security Council.

Mr Faheem Aziz has over 25 years of experience and an in-depth understanding of Investment Banking, Asset Management, Private Equity, Private Banking and Compliance/ Risk from working in the front, middle and back office. He has worked for some of the leading financial institutions in the world such as Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Credit Suisse, UBS, Swicorp, Hambros, Lehmans and Nomura. He has worked on projects for Deutsche Bank, ABN Amro and RBS amongst others. He was instrumental in raising $1.5bn for a private equity fund that invested in 30 different companies. Whilst at ADIA he was responsible for a team that invested $30bn in world financial markets and set up the Tactical Asset Allocation Unit with an initial investment of $90bn.

Recently he has been the founder of Kinetrix Consulting a pioneer of outsourced Compliance and AML services to Financial institutions regulated by the DFSA. Over the past decade he has been an Authorised DFSA Compliance Officer and MLRO for several DFSA Cat 4, CAT 3c and 3a Firms . Further, he was instrumental in setting the capital markets strategy in Saudi Arabia and was tasked with reviewing the move to T+2 and the inclusion of Saudi in the MSCI index. More recently Mr Aziz has acquired a deep understanding of Cryptocurrencies and blockchain and is currently advising a number of companies in this area.
Faheem has an MBA from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School.

Mr Hesham Amer has over 25 years’ experience in the banking, Investment consulting, Asset Management sector. Mr. Amer has worked in Stock brokering and Investment Consulting, Asset Management firms and financial institutions listed on stock exchange. Mr. Amer is currently CEO of Delma Brokerage Company which an affiliate of Abu Dhabi Holding Company, one of the major investment companies in Abu Dhabi. Mr. Amer has Bachelor of Arts from Cario University, is a Certified Portfolio Manager and a Chartered Financial Analyst

Pradeep Chandra is a banker with over 34 years’ experience in the banking sector and 15 years in Private Banking. Mr. Chandra has worked internationally in Treasury, Private and Investment Banking. Mr. Chandra was SEO at Gulf International Finance Limited a DFSA regulated firm and before that was Senior Vice President at United Investment Bank (Dubai) which entails FX and Rate Advisory, Corporate Finance, Asset Management and Institution Sales. Mr. Chandra previously worked for HSBC, Credit Suisse and Lloyds where he directed investments in diverse asset classes such as private equity and hedge funds. Mr. Chandra has an Engineering BTech and MBA in finance. Mr. Chandra has significant experience in private banking sector and is looking forward to head the private banking advisory department of the Firm.

Mr Sanghrajka has over 33 years accounting experience across three continents. He was Regional Finance Manager for Gillette for Middle East and Africa based in Dubai. His responsibility included business planning and analysis, Financial Reporting and Accounting, Internal and Accounting Controls. Organization Development and oversight for key IT projects and Payroll. He has held Finance Officer roles for several DFSA regulated entities over the last 5 years.
